Everything is changing, everything is going faster and faster… The 2007 Festival Gardens reflect the ever-moving world:  Mobile!

The garden in itself is in perpetual evolution : water, wind, soil and the vegetation all make the garden a place of constant transformation. Plants climb towards the sky, tall grasses swish in the wind, seeds leave home and travel….

Let us show, in the space of one festival season, the multiple movements, whether obvious or imperceptible, that nature proposes.

And in this era of durable development, what changes will affect the water wheel, the windmill, and the other machines that have marked the art of gardens?

And tomorrow ? The art of gardens will reflect this tendency towards mobility, which today is a new source of creativity and innovation for design and architecture. The landscape will become multi-purpose, adaptable, adjustable in the blink of an eye thanks to rollers, pulleys, rails…et migrants or tourists will carry their gardens with them.

This year at Chaumont-sur-Loire, the gardens are recreational, original, surprising, romantic…and always mobile!
