Le Tourbillon'aire Agence de paysage LanD : Corinne LAMOUR and Eric GIROUD |
|
The Tourbillon’aire is a poetic reflection on sustainable development. Inspired by Calder and Tinguely for the mobiles, and by Schwitters for the simple, disintegrating plant décor, this garden helps make us aware of elements, energy and movement. It aims to procure a feeling of harmonious and coherent dialogue between nature and man that uses energy and puts it to its best advantage.
The garden displays its colours and elements. Movement is evoked in all sorts of ways: plants swaying, windmills whirling, up-and-down hydraulic pumping, rhythmic percussions, circulating visitors, the changing rhythm of footsteps, the evolution of perspective in the garden, and the ground movement that can make the curious onlooker waver on his feet.
