They have come from the far corners of the Earth, travelling plants who have run astray and invaded this garden. They settle in, slip between the asphalt cracks, spread out and spontaneously reorganize.
From Asia or South America, these plants have straddled the mountains and oceans, using all sorts of devious tricks to propagate. Their various methods are represented here by a range of well-known, impressive, colourful plants: Asian butterfly bush, Himalayan balsam, Caucasian hogweed, China sumac…
Amidst the lush proliferation, two spiralling structures emerge, with twining morning glories and hops (Humulus lupulus) clinging to them. These two structures are the predestined trajectories of the movement of the two plants. Their progression marks the unfolding of Time. Along the spiral, months and moons flower and leave their seeds behind.
